Safari Summary
Five days built around the Maasai Mara, Kenya most productive big-cat country. You fly or drive from Nairobi into the reserve, then spend three full days on private game drives with a certified guide in a 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof.
Expect lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and vast herds of plains game, and from July to October the Great Migration crossing the Mara River. The pace is relaxed, with time to linger at sightings and a hot bush breakfast on one morning.

Itinerary
Meet your guide at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. Fly or drive to the Mara, arriving in time for lunch at camp, then set out on an afternoon game drive as the light softens.
Leave at first light to find the cats at their most active. Return for breakfast, rest through the midday heat, then head out again, or take a picnic lunch and stay on the plains all day.
Follow the herds towards the Mara River, where crocodiles wait below the crossing points. A bush breakfast is set up on the open savannah. An optional hot-air balloon flight can be added at extra cost.
One last morning drive, then breakfast and the journey back to Nairobi. Settle into a quiet guesthouse in Karen and enjoy a farewell dinner.
Breakfast, then a private transfer to the airport for your onward flight. We can add the Giraffe Centre or the elephant orphanage on the way if your flight is later in the day.
